Quickstart

You need an AdsGPT account, an ad account connected to it, and an AI agent that supports MCP, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI.

  1. Create your AdsGPT account. Sign up at app.adsgpt.dev and create your organization. Your team can join it later, each member with their own role.

  2. Connect Google Ads. In AdsGPT, open Plugins, choose Google Ads and sign in with the Google account that has access to your ad accounts. Only the organization’s owner can connect a platform.

  3. Add AdsGPT to your AI agent. Install the AdsGPT plugin, or add the MCP server https://mcp.adsgpt.dev. Each client has its own steps:

  4. Sign in. The first time your agent uses AdsGPT, it opens AdsGPT’s sign-in page in your browser. Sign in, choose the organization and approve the access the agent asks for.

  5. Ask something. For example:

How did my Google Ads campaigns do last week?

Reports and queries only read your data. When a request changes an ad account, such as a budget, a status or a new campaign, your agent shows you what it will do and asks for your approval before it runs. New campaigns launch paused unless you ask otherwise.

The first time your agent tries to change something, it may ask you to sign in again to grant the ads:write permission. Until then, AdsGPT can only read.
